Step 1

Mohawk reclaims an average of 6 billion bottles every year that are transported to our plant in Summerville, GA.

Step 2

These post-consumer plastic bottles are then sorted, cleaned, and made into flakes to start being processed.

Step 3

The PET flakes are then extruded into EverStrand fiber.

Step 4

Finally, the stain-resistant PET fiber is made into beautiful, long-lasting EverStrand carpet.
